How to improve a classic pickup design: Delano takes the classic P-Bass™ pickup design a major step forward. The big ferrous poles grab all the strings movements with zero loss. Specially engineered ferrite magnets and custom wound coils make up for a bass transducer ready to redefine the word PRECISION.

Just imagine meaty P-Bass™ tone with in-your-face Stingray™ style grind and attack, then you got at least the frame of the picture. Due to its tight broad frequency range, this is a GREAT pickup for nu-school funk and rock players, it loves droptuned basses and massive tone tweaking.

Delano Split Coil

I am really happy with these pickups. They are everything I was hoping they would be. After buying a lower end Yamaha I knew I would have to upgrade the electronics. I surveyed every sound sample I could find and when I heard these, I knew they were it. Really full on the neck but blend well with the bridge that matches.

My favorite P Bass pickup
By Darrell Birtcher from on 4/11/2016

I've had a lot of P bass pickups but this one works the best for me. It has such a beautiful, punchy, yet smooth sound.
Great clarity without getting harsh. Not too bright, yet bright enough that I can effectively use the tone control to get a rounder tone,
much like Duck Dunn's tone, even with nickel roundwounds. The tone holds up great even up high on the neck. Those big pole pieces give it a
punch that is just amazing, without getting the least bit honky. A truly impressive pickup.

Delano P rocks...
By al yaz from on 1/3/2014

I've owned a lot of P basses and P/J basses. I've tried Lawrence pickups, Aeros, Basslines, Fenders, Bartolinis, Dimarzios, Fralins and Stan Hinesley's hand wound pickups... among others. All in all the Delano's have a warm but punchy and articulate presence that sits well in a loud classic rock setting. These were recommended by the staff at 'BestBassGear' and I'm very pleased with how the Delano P is performing. Thanks guys and gals.
