Model P Specs

The DiMarzio Model P accurately reproduces the sound of your bass with added gain and solid tone. DiMarzio Model P pickups cut through the band without sacrificing bottom-end power. Model J Specs
DiMarzio Model J™s keep the crunchy, focused sound of the traditional Fender Jazz Bass tone while boosting gain and response. This additional presence translates into a bigger sound with improved attack and bite; great for highly articulated finger or pick-style playing where quick response is needed. The DiMarzio Model J™ pickup's sensitivity and deep tone are also the perfect complement to the warm character of fretless basses. Double-stop glissandos and delicate violin-style vibrato speak with a classic, woody voice simply by backing off slightly on the tone controls.
Tech Talk:
Unlike traditional Js, each Model J™ is individually humbucking. It's not a stack: each coil picks up one pair of strings. By doing it this way, we keep the resistance down, and the tone clean and clear.
Wiring: Standard four conductor
Magnet: Ceramic
Output: 150mV
DC Resistance: 6.73K
Year of introduction: 1979
