You’ve heard the phrase “it’s all in the fingers” when it comes to guitars both for 6-string and bass. This player certainly proves that correct. The Yamaha TRBX174 is, quite literally, a $200 bass. Yes, $200. Not $2,000.
Is the TRBX174 good for you, however? That’s for you to decide. However, it would seem that the instrument, even while low in price, would be quite nice as a starter bass or as a backup. For $200, you really can’t go wrong here.
And remember, we have upgrades aplenty. 🙂 A P/J set of Aguilars would suit this instrument quite nicely!
