Our goals
We hope you’ve been enjoying the content here at eBass. Our goal is to keep it updated with video tutorials from our techs, little tips and tricks, new products, big news from the bass community, and great custom basses.
We’re trying to provide a nice little corner of the internet just for bassists. Somewhere that will both inspire those with stock basses to take it to the next level, and to highlight the incredible work that you guys, the techs and builders, are doing every day.
One of the things we want to do moving forward at e:Bass is feature more content from techs and builders themselves.
We want to give you guys the opportunity to showcase the repairs, upgrades, and builds that you’re doing.
Why should you contribute?
By contributing content to the eBass blog you will be getting your name and great work out in front of a large audience.
Your quality content will be shared with 19,509 Facebook fans that like Best Bass Gear’s page, and it may be delivered to the 17,576 and counting interested bassists that subscribe to our weekly eBass email newsletter.

Create Great Content
Since not all articles submitted will be published, you should try towrite the best article you can create. Before you submit your article for review, take a quick look at the questions below:
- Am I covering a new subject, or covering it in a way that is uniquely valuable and original?
- Is this topic of significant interest to other bass players, techs, and builders?
- Does my post do this topic justice; providing unique, valuable tips, and tricks, provide inspiration for players just starting out, actual how-to information on how to build or mod a bass? Is it technically accurate?
- Am I doing the best job I can providing usable, relevant examples when appropriate? Do I explain to other people *how to* do it, rather than just saying “do this”?
- Have I used graphics, video, illustrations, photos, screenshots etc to help make my article more readable, enjoyable and valuable? (For example if your article is about installing a pickup, make sure to include pictures to show the various stages of the install.) Please limit your images to 620 pixels wide, as this is the width of the editor.
