Control Configuration

  1. Treble
  2. Bass
  3. Mid/Mid Stack

Similar to the BQC, the BCS Control works with any active or passive pickup and takes up almost no space. But with the BQS you’ll get separate bass and treble controls.

The BQS includes a concentric (stacked) mid-control. It allows separate control over bass, midrange, and treble. And with the mid-range control you’ll be able to sweep through the mid-frequency range from 100Hz to 1KHz.

The pots are conveniently center detented and the unit comes with two extra control knobs for additional uses.

High Praise
By Stan from on 1/8/2014
I can't sing high enough praise for my experience dealing with BBG. The Tech I
talked to had answers for all my questions and then some. My order arrived a couple of days
later. The installation had no problems and everything has been working great ever since.

EMG BQS is a flexible preamp.
By Kevin Johnson from on 1/8/2014
The EMG QQS is very easy to install with only three wires to solder. The diameter of the shaft on the mid control is larger than the bass and treble one, so you may need to enlarge one of the holes and you may also have to experiment with placement to allow room for the circuit board in the control cavity and how you line up the controls. Soundwise the pre is very quet and the sweepable mid offers a great deal of control over the tone.
