The DELANO PC series offers a range of different transducer designs in the familiar Precison Bass™ pickup shape.They are direct retrofit units and can be installed in any electric bass that is outfitted with a P-bass™ style pickup cavity.

Since its invention in 1957, the split coil P-Bass™ pickup is the proven industry standard of electric bass transducers. Its basic design was not substantially altered visually since, but tone-wise, the changes are definitly audible. The alnico PC5 AL is our tribute to lovers of classy vintage P-bass™ tone on five string basses. We carefully morphed the great "oomph" and greasy swamp bottom late 50s to early 60s pickups are famous four with the grinding wire attitude of ‘68 to‘73 examples and then added a slight DELANO twist to enhance dynamics and articulation. From groove to grind, old school to nu, the PC5 AL delivers with authority.
