Jazz Bass Configuration

The Jazz Bass pickup is made to the specifications of the mid 60s production instruments and is very similar to the pickups re-wound for Jaco back in the early 80s. The pickup is wound for the right amount of output and brightness without being too muddy or thin.

Dimensions

    Neck Pickup

  • Length = 3.602"(91.5mm) Width = 0.718"(18.2mm)
  • Bridge Pickup

  • Length = 3.715"(94.3mm) Width = 0.718"(18.2mm)

Precision Bass Configuration

This P-Bass™ replica pickup features the look and sound of the 60‘s tradition. It‘s perfect for restoring your old instrument and comes with a brass bottom plate to help insure ease of mounting. The coils are balanced for noise free performance.

Dimensions

  • Length = 2.20"(56mm) Width =1.08"(28mm)

'51 Precision Bass Configuration

Often called the Tele® Bass, this pickup keeps the traditional look of the '50s and '60s.

The slightly stronger Alnico V rod magnets gives the pickup more presence and output. It's a little fatter and fuller-sounding than the '50s Antiquity pickup.

Please Note: Seymour Duncan supplies chrome pickup screws with their pickups. If you require black or gold screws, we carry them on our pickup screws page.

Vintage Tone Monster
By Tim Skaggs from on 1/17/2014

The pickup does what I expected; it makes my bass sound like a vintage tone monster and my bass is not even a Fender. The output os low, but I can live with that.

Gave my mim p-bass the exact sound I was looking for. Sounds like a p-bass from the 60's. I am going to change to the same pickups on my j-bass.

Seymour Duncan Antiquity 2 bridge pickup
By Dennis Pinhorn from on 1/15/2014

This is the second set of these pickups I've purchased. They have that great single coil sound: punchy with a nice 'top end' typical of standard Jazzbass pickups but with a much bigger 'bottom end'than stock pickups. Will hold their own in a loud band.
