While there are several ways to do this, this particular method is suitable for anyone even if you have no prior experience.<\/p>\n<p>Below: Box of rags (thick paper towels, same as blue shop towels), pair of medical grade gloves (meaning not kitchen gloves), tung oil (natural color), bass neck.<\/p>\n<p><img src=\"https:\/\/www.bestbassgear.com\/ebass\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/IMG_5424.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>Note on neck: Sanding at this point since the neck was seen in the last article has been handed with 220, 320 and 400-grit (in that order) to prep the neck for tung oil finishing.<\/p>\n<p>Below: Dipping rag into oil to apply first coat.
