To put that in perspective, many bass ukuleles have a 20&#8243; scale length, and a short scale 6-string guitar such as the Fender Jaguar has a 24&#8243; scale length.<\/p>\n<p>Cool bass? Yes, but there&#8217;s a rather important thing to know about this particular instrument.<\/p>\n<p>It has strings specifically made to work for this bass by D&#8217;Addario that have a nylon core with phosphor bronze winding. If you were to install a set of strings not made by D&#8217;Addario that use the same core and winding materials, finding something that works with the 23.5&#8243; scale <i>and<\/i> works properly with the piezo pickup may be a bit of a challenge. <\/p>\n<p>Check out the video below and post a comment with your opinion.
