Denny writes:<\/p>\n

I wanted something that represents who I am and where I came from. I started building bass guitars back in 2007 after I was saved and baptized\u00a0 at my new church home and after I married my 4th wife Terry.\u00a0 I built one similar to this and sold it to my Brother Jeff in Texas\u00a0 in 2013. When I came home from vacation on that trip I decided\u00a0 I wanted one for myself!<\/p>\n

I wanted a hollow body similar to an acoustic, but yet a total electric bass. The body is pine. The back is Poplar wood from home depot, and the top is tiger maple I bought off eBay. The neck is an ebay fender p bass style neck. I reshaped the head stock hard maple neck with a rose wood fretted board.\u00a0 The top has been hand drawn, burnt and painted\u00a0 by me.<\/p>\n

I’ve been clean and sober for many years and this bass represents my freedom from addiction. I started the build in august of 2013 and finished it in Jan 2014. I don’t play any more but it represents my freedom from alcohol .<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
