Here’s the story of his innovative build in his own words:

I have, what you call an outreach band in the church I attend, I am a bass player but I couldn’t find a guitar player with the same vision and my keyboard player was always flaky. I needed more player’s and since I couldn’t find any and got tired of waiting for one, I duplicated myself. I made a double neck guitar first with a guitar neck on top and a bass neck bellow, but it was to far to travel between necks, it was eventually stolen, So I finally figured out how to make both fret boards on one neck. You can also use a loop pedal with either guitar or bass and jam with it.

The Neck is made of Maple with a mahogany body, since I was without a guitar player at the time I had to get innovated and this is what I came up with so I could be in close range with all strings for play-ability.
