Here is the bass I recently finished.  It\u2019s my fourth complete build.  It is a neck through jazz bass design and features an ash neck and body with a maple fingerboard and \u201dtone block\u201d at the back of the neck where the body is. <\/p>\n

I dyed the body red and used black grain filler on the ash.  It got black hardware (much of which came from BBG). <\/p>\n

Bartolini Jazz pickups <\/p>\n

Hipshot vintage style bridge <\/p>\n

Hipshot string ferrules on the back <\/p>\n

Gotoh tuners <\/p>\n

SIT strings <\/p>\n

CTS pots <\/p>\n

Dunlop recessed strap locks <\/p>\n

It plays nice and I like the Bartolini pups quite a bit.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
