This week’s BotW is a custom build Jazz Bass, concentrating on “staying true” to Fender design.<\/p>\n

Inspiration is 60’s Jazz Bass. It was made on order for a session musician. Body is alder, neck is hard Bosnian maple with rosewood fretboard, bridge and tuners are classic Fender replacement, and pickups are Fender<\/a> 60’s Custom Shop. Electronics are passive and it has and NOS Russian paper in oil tone cap. Finish is polyurethane, frets are Fender vintage or 6230 Dunlop replacement.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

I think it’s safe to say that some of you out there would want one of these just based on the quality of the finish and neck wood grain alone<\/em>, never mind the fact the rest of the instrument is wonderful Jazz Bass simplicity at its finest.<\/p>\n
