This is the result of a custom bass build years in the making. After carefully selecting the luthier I was able to narrow down the perfect bass for my needs, wants, desired sound, and boutique look. This bass has a swamp ash body with an exhibition grade cocobolo top. The 3 piece bolt on maple\/ Purple Heart\/ maple neck is arguably one of the fastest, easy to play necks money can buy, and has two graphite truss rods for support. The fretboard is a beautiful wenge with matching cocobolo 12th fret inlay as well as matching cocobolo headstock. Last but not least it is equipped with Bartolini active electronics<\/a> and black\/ gold hipshot hardware<\/a>. Sometimes it does take years to get a build done exactly right. Andrew got exactly what he wanted, and yes, it was absolutely done correct.<\/p>\n
