His bass was ash with a wenge face. Your pickups and hardware, passively wired.<\/p>\n<p>What was even cooler about Brian&#8217;s bass is that he did an outstanding job. Probably the best action of any of the instruments built this last school year, and the combination of the Barts and ash body made this bass a real booty shaker. The neck is quarter sawn maple with indian rosewood fingerboard, and a curly maple faceplate on the headstock.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>We at Best Bass Gear love it when the younger generation continues the tradition of crafting instruments. <\/p>\n<p>Also, for those of you out there with a local school that has a program for woodcraft of this kind, <em>please donate<\/em>.
