This week’s bass guitar of the week comes from a builder out of Dodge City, Kansas.<\/p>\n

The bass is my “HOOK” model. Named for the hook feature below the bridge. It’s purely cosmetic and I have been doing this basic hook design feature since 1992. Color on the 5 string Is Bloodvein. Swamp Ash Body, maple\/maple neck, Grover tuners, Schaller bridge and strap locks. Active EMG’s<\/a> with 3 band EQ. They are Built in Dodge City, Kansas by me, by hand, one at a time. I currently build 4 & 5 string, 34″ scale basses. I have four of my own bass models, Hook, Tyranis, Paragon, and Axiom and have also modified J and P bass designs to my own specs, basically slightly smaller and lighter bodies. J or P necks are available on any body style. There are also two 6 string guitar designs I offer. The Slyder and Badazz. All available for custom order with many options on each model.
