As noted in the video, something that was (and still is) special about Zon basses is that they used necks made of graphite. However, later on there were instruments produced using wood necks.<\/p>\n<p>Below is a &#8220;Mojo Series&#8221; Zon, and the difference this time around is that it&#8217;s an Asian build. China, specifically. However, the bass does get the full once-over when it arrives stateside, so when you get one, it&#8217;s plays as close to perfect as it can get right out of the box.<\/p>\n<p>However, even as a China-build, the Zon still commands around the same price as an American-built Fender. Then again, this is Zon design we&#8217;re talking about.
