His Tinozza-inspired acoustic bass is a piece of work.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>This bass was a year and a half project. The first acoustic guitar for for me. All the others I have built are electrics.<\/p>\n<p>I got the idea from the Tinozza. The body is smaller and the bridge is different. It does have the Tinozza bracing (&#8220;A&#8221; brace) also used on the Tacoma Thunderchief bass. Top is Engelman spruce and back &amp; sides are Grafted walnut. Fret board and bridge are Granadillo. Pick up is a K&amp;K Pure Sound installed under the bridge.
