Describing a pickup’s tone as “bright” does make sense as that describes the treble side of things. <\/p>\n

Describing a sound as “accurate” could mean any number of things. <\/p>\n

It could mean “proper response”, meaning consistency of tone just about anywhere on the neck. <\/p>\n

It could also mean “articulate”, which can describe the voicing of the pickup as “clarity of sound”, among other things (certain players have different ways of describing what articulate means when describing a sound).<\/p>\n

Regardless of how you describe accuracy of tone, response of tone and\/or articulation of tone, there is one undeniable truth here:<\/p>\n

Bartolini pickups are good.<\/p>\n

When you have a bass with good pickups in it, life is just plain easier. It’s easier to get a bass sounding good in studio or on stage when the pickups are built right and sound right out of the box.<\/p>\n
