Gold writes:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>I was always in awe of John Paul Jones Triple Omega bass, and knew I wanted one that emulated its style. I had Chris build me one bass exactly to my specs at a very reasonable price point. I was so impressed with the build quality, feel, and sound, that I decided that I&#8217;d ask Chris to build my Omega. I refined the body and headstock, spec&#8217;d the woods, hardware, electronics, and most importantly, the tiger fretboard inlay. My first son was born in the year of the tiger, and I have a tiger tattoo for him, so I decided to put this tiger on the bass for him as well.
