In yesterday&#8217;s How-to for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bestbassgear.com\/how-to-install-tuning-machines.html\">\u00a0installing new tuning machines<\/a>\u00a0Max made use of, of all things, an old bar of soap.<\/p>\n<p>You expect the drills and routers, t-squares and soldering irons &#8230; but soap?<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s actually an age old trick from woodworkers and boat builders.<\/p>\n<p>By just taking the screw and running it along an old bar of soap you&#8217;ll lubricate the threads.
