Hipshot- BT2 Detuner(Nickel)- Bass Side
By kelly Smith
I was confused on which product to buy, so I contacted both the Hipshot and Best Bass Gear. Best Bass Gear responded within 1 day. Hipshot a few days later. The BT2 Detunerwas easy to install, easy to adjust, and works as advertised. I installed the BT2 Detuner on my 2001 Fender Geddy Lee Jazz Bass. I love that I don't need to tune during sets or change basses. I'm considering buying a 2nd to install on another bass

76 Jazz - works great!
Even though I'm in my 60's - this was the first drop D tuner I've owned/installed. Once I understood how it actually works (duh), it was fairly easy to install. It takes a little going back and forth to get the tuning correct for each note (E/D). The hipshot video shows how to get the tuning down.
