This week’s bass guitar of the week comes from Kilin Guitars, from builder Ray-Lin Chang.
Ray-Lin writes:
This bass was inspired by antinuclear, trying to tell people think about it.
Scale: 34″
Neck: Indian rosewood
Fingerboard: Cocobolo
Body: One piece alder
Top: Indian rosewood with 4 ply veneer
Pickup: Aguilar 4P-Hot
Electric: Passive (Tonestyler 10)
Bridge: Gotoh 201
Tuning key: Gotoh GB640 Brass neck plate

It is seriously cool that the inlay work is an interesting take on The Scream paintings along with the nuclear symbol. That combined with the minimalist look gives it a unique look all its own. Well done, Ray-Lin!

Sweet bass!
The bridge should be moved farther back though so the saddles are more forward. 🙂
