Friday Work Whistle Recap

We’ve all been there. It’s Friday afternoon, and time seems to be standing still. Waiting for that clock to hit 5:00 and for the weekend to start. There are friends to be meet, gigs to be played, and a whole lot of nothing to be done over the weekend.

You work hard every day in your life. You work til you ache in the bones.

There is nothing quite like an amazing street musician.

Take a load off. True, the late great Levon Helms may have been a drummer, but we won’t hold that against him.

I’m guessing this kid destroys at his middle school talent show.

You don’t really need an excuse to watch a video of Dark Vader playing the bass, but we used May the Fourth as one.

  1. That is absolutely true, but to dirffeent degrees with dirffeent pickups. If the two coils of the pickup are very similar as on many pickups, it doesn’t make so much difference. But if there is a big disparity between them, you’ll get a major difference in sound by how you orient them. I noticed this on a Dimarzio Humbucker from Hell that I installed in one of my Les Pauls years ago.
