This week’s bass guitar of the week has a lot of nice grain lines and a pick guard that matches the headstock.
Builder Adil Sabit writes:
Naturally, the inspiration for this was the legendary Fender Jazz Bass. The body composed of 4 pieces. In the center is merbeau and Indian rosewood, the wings made from an ash wood. Pick guard consists of burl maple, black walnut and maple. The peghead covered with burl maple veneer. The neck is 3 piece curly maple with 2 walnut veneer in between. It is also reinforced with 2 carbon rods. Fingerboard and mounting plate I’ve made from ebony. 9.5″ – 16″ compound radius. Neck are connected with fingerboard by oval cross-section. DiMarzio ultra jazz pickups in passive. Schaller tuning machines and Babicz bridge.

Nice work, Adil!

Truly a brilliant piece of craftsmanship!

And how its sounds??? You never post a video o audio of the instrument. Only pictures, that isn’t the important thing in music
The builder did not send any sound samples. If he does, we will update the article with them
How is it sound?? Only photos?, the important thing is the sound.
It’s essentially a jazz bass, so most likely sounds like a jazz bass. No need for sound samples there
I absolutely agree that the sound is the main thing and soon I’ll make a demo.
