I’m a music producer, singer songwriter and bass player of 40 years. I own two DR Basses built by David Remy. I can say without a doubt his customs are as good as it gets. All top end parts and features. My first purchase from David was a five string that was so beautiful I originally bought because it looked so cool. It’s a light colored beige burped maple top with purple heart fret board. It came with some second hand stock pickups which David let me know right up front they should be up graded which I did. I put in two Seymour Duncan soapbar Basslines. I’ve been in love with this guitar ever since. I then had David build a custom six string to my specs. Another outstanding job David did with the six string. He is a solid luthier who deserves his great reputation.
I also have a dr custum, anybody know how to get in touch with David Remy?
