This week’s BotW is flamed on both the front and back.
Builder Danijel Kopjar writes:
Hello! this is the top model of our VB series, as VintageBass, and is made as neck through with high end parts.
The Wreck is trying to achieve a perfect chambering of a bass guitar body using a special technique by carving entire inside of the body with pyramids.
The body is lighter 30% than the same without that system, and it sounds more defined, little acoustic, but still focused on a solid body growl.
So the pyramids are not to deep in the body, but enough to do the proper work of “bad resonance elimination”.
The bass is made neck through in maple/padouk construction with mahogany wings and the flamed maple on top and back of a bass.
The scale length is 35″ with 24 frets on a flamed maple fretboard.
Nordstrand pickups are working horses with Aguilar electronics in passive or active mode. And can be split in series/single/parallel with 3way switch for each pickup.
The upper horn is right at the 12 fret so there is no neck diving and is perfectly balanced for longer gigs.
Hardware is supplied by Hipshot and is all of aluminium.
Well done, Danijel!
