I like the way the 8 strings are tuned … 4 at the head and 4 at the bridge. Very cool.
That is absolutely the coolest, most beautiful custom bass that I think I’ve ever seen and I’ve been around since the 60’s! I have a nice 8 string bass myself that I’ve played on a stage many times but it’s nowhere near your creation. I’ve been into spiders ever since I was a kid and bought my first Alice Cooper album, which had the Black Widow track on it, so I seriously dig the arachnid motif.
