Vertigo: the new top-loading case from Mono

Sometimes something new makes so much sense you can’t believe no one had thought of it before. The Vertigo, the world’s first Top-Loading Case is jut one of those things.

Mono knows we are lazy. We don’t want to have to lay down our case and then bend down to get our bass out. I mean, think about it, how much sense does that make?

That’s where the practical top-loading design came from.

With the Vertigo, just lean the case agaisnt something, unzip from both sides down, and pull out your bass without pulling out your back. It’s that simple.

The Vertigo also features a Headlock neck suspension system, which automatically holds your instrument firmly in place. So even if you’re moving it around, your bass is sliding all over the place in there. And without the hassle of any straps or buckles.

Whether you’re lugging around a Fender, Ibanez, Fodera, Warwick, Tobias, Yamaha, or anything else, the Vertigo will fit any standard size electric bass.

It carries a retail price of $250, but order the Vertigo Top-Loading Case from Mono from Best Bass Gear today for just $199.

  1. ok, so now I’m po’d. after 2 years of waffling I plunked down two hundred smackers for the original MONO and a couple months later they do this! ah, well. I will say the “old” MONO is still awesome. against my better judgement I loaded my Warwick in it for a trip to Djibouti by way of Philly, Germany, and Ethiopia. Got there and back without a scratch despite being in the cargo hold of several different planes. It’s a lot more than a gig bag – more like a much smaller and lighter anvil case with a big front pocket.

    • UPDATE: Outer pocket zipper busted this month. Contacted MONO, and after providing them the e-receipt from where I bought it, they shipped me a brand-new one, no questions asked. Just asked for the old one (pre-paid shipping label included) so they could figure out what happened. $200 is worth the money just to have this piece of mind.
