We’ve had another busy month here at e:Bass; full of How-to videos, bass guitar news, and new products to Best Bass Gear.

Our techs explained in video guides how to install a prewired preamp, install a pickup set, and replace tuners.

We learned how to adjust a vintage bass’ trust rod, that bar soap can be a great screw lubricant, what grounding an instrument really means, and how to treat a Fender bass’ deadspot.

We remembered Jim Marshall the Father of Loud, learned from Esperanza Spalding on the Daily Show that where you play your air bass determines style, and took notice of the world’s first radio station devoted entirely to the bass.

We’ve also had a ton of action going on over at the Best Bass Gear facebook page. It’s always great to see pictures of everyone’s guitars, and to hear the feedback from everyone in the comments.

Our Basses of the Week included Stacey Darren Leazer’s Les Paul TriumphFrancis James Hunnycut’s bass custom built by his brotherRay-Lin Chang’s MTD, KS, and Fodera influenced 5-string, and Tom Daugherty’s Acoustic Bass.

Keep checking in here at e:Bass, and let us know what you like, and we promise to keep it updated with quality material you can enjoy. Thanks for another great month.
