Coda Deluxe Models from Spector

Spector Bass Guitars is releasing Deluxe models of their 4-string and 5-string Coda Bass.

The Coda was inspired by the vintage basses Stuart Spector remembers from his days as a younger musician. It captures the tonal and aesthetic qualities from the age ofbasses. However by using carbon fiber support rods in the neck, the Coda is able to avoid the deadspots  on the G string.

“They took a traditional design and actually improved the standard workhorse bass that every bass player uses at one point or another,” said Abe Millett, bassist for Third Eye Blind, and Spector endorsed artist.

The Deluxe model has a pickguard-free design and a stained finish.

The Coda Bass teams an Aguilar OBP-2 preamp with Aguilar J pickups. It also features a Hipshot A Style bridge.

  1. Les Paul is a model made by Gibson. It was named after the famous gstraiiut who still plays in New York at over 90 years of age. Gibson is and always has been known as one of the best guitar makers in the world.References :

  2. What did you do? I cannot get this to work.I did have to crteae a coda folder. I also did not have a modes folder so crteaed that too. When that did not work, I deleted the modes folder and tried it that way. Still no option of PHP-HTML-WP in my preferences. I even closed and re-opened Coda a few times. Is this a Lion thing that may be holding me up?
