In an expansion to their Electromatic Collection, Gretsch has introduced two new hollow-body bass guitars. The G5440LSB Electromatic Hollow Body Long Scale Bass and the G5442BDC Electromatic Hollow Body Short Scale Bass.
They feature a maple neck, a bound rosewood fingerboard, and hump-block pearloid inlays.
The Long Scale model has a single-cutaway body and 34” scale length, comes in Orange and Black.The Short Scale features a double-cutaway and a 30 ¼” scale length, and is available in Black and Red.
Both have a suggested retail price of $1,300.
You guys are nuts. I bohugt a Tonare Grand. It blows my Olson (rosewood/cedar)) AWAY!!! (rosewood/cedar). I bohugt it after I played everything in Mandolin Brothers high end room. It tops the McPhersons, the Schenks, and the Martins. IT IS WAAAAY BEYOND THEM AND WORTH EVERY PENNY.
Is there a minimal caacrlnee that should exist around the edges of the pick-up covers and the pick guard?I ask because my Harmony H-80-T ( fake Strat exactly like a Starcaster ) has pick-ups that are in a bind and wont adjust.I have bulging in the pick guard in places because of misalignment. I think the e-Bay store I bought it from switched out the original relic treated one, and of course the China jig for the holes wasn’t the same as the 1980s Japan jig.It’s a mess bro.
Inception is a good runner up righ about now. Favorite book, I have a cluope Hexwood is pretty good by diana wynne jones. Almost all of Agatha Christie’s mysteries. Clazziquai, Gackt, LM.C, those are the artist that I am loving as of late. These are in no particular order in my life right now, but most are recent favs. I don’t have an all time though, LOL.

I’ve never thohgut about this before, in fact, I don’t think I have a favorite superhero, or at least not one off the top of my head right now.I haven’t seen the movie (Iron Man), but, the way you describe it, Iron Man DOES sound like the superhero I would pick too! Remember: I love anything geeky as well! =D I’ve never liked traditional superheroes that much anyway =P You know, those supermen/batmen/whatevermen that wear cloaks and use underwear on the outside & stuff like that lol Overall, I prefer superheroes or characters that have more brains than brawn, you know? Kinda like L & Light from Death Note, just to name one example. I think you’ll also agree with that haha So you like Iron Man better than Avatar? And it’s even your all-time favorite movie? Wow!
