What does a bass with a Kahler tremolo system actually sound like?

Some players think a tremolo system is the most useless thing one could install on a bass guitar.

Not true.

A tremolo (which is actually vibrato) system when put in the right hands can be used to create interesting sounds that are actually usable. And by usable I mean “something that could be used in a song and isn’t just there-for-the-sake-of-being-there.”

Here’s an example of a Kahler tremolo in action:

A tremolo system is obviously not something to be used all the time, but it is nice to have to get certain sounds you otherwise couldn’t get without one.
