This week’s bass guitar of the week comes from Kilin Guitars, from builder Ray-Lin Chang.

Ray-Lin writes:

This bass was inspired by antinuclear, trying to tell people think about it.

Scale: 34″

Neck: Indian rosewood

Fingerboard: Cocobolo

Body: One piece alder

Top: Indian rosewood with 4 ply veneer

Pickup: Aguilar 4P-Hot

Electric: Passive (Tonestyler 10)

Bridge: Gotoh 201

Tuning key: Gotoh GB640 Brass neck plate

It is seriously cool that the inlay work is an interesting take on The Scream paintings along with the nuclear symbol. That combined with the minimalist look gives it a unique look all its own. Well done, Ray-Lin!
