The Sabre Bass has had a long absence and hasn’t been made since the early 1990s, but now it’s back.
Looks great, sounds great. For those of you out there looking for something “not Fender” but still has a great feel and sound to it, this might be just what you were looking for.
AND REMEMBER: We have MM size pickups like this one, so if the tone isn’t to your liking, we have the goods to make your Sabre Bass sound just the way you want it.
Sweet great to see the Sabre Bass back once again 🙂
I hated the first part of the demo but when he got to finger style, I fell in love with Music Man all over again-demo guy pretty kewl also!-That’s one heck of a figer style bass. I don’t care for basses played with a pick. I had one of these old guys I picked up in a pawn shop for 200 bucks, did a little work on it( I’m a certified tech) and used it quite awhile, but eventually I missed my Lincluthier too much and had to go back to it. I think the M M is a great bass for wk. end warriors, Vegas not so much but I think they will sell a busload-price is good for what it does and I can just feel the neck-my old one was smoothe as butta! Nice review!
Should be two comments -mine was quite favorable but I don’t see it!
These are nice, but I had both the newer ones and my 79 sabre.Hands down the 70s sabres wins
Nice bass. The 70s sabres are so much better.Sad ernie ball didn’t replicate to exact specs the late 70s sabre
Get a real bass player to demonstrate that sweet bass. And don’t refer to it as a bass guitar; call it an Electric Bass!
They should actual professional bass players to review basses. Just sayin’
