I really wanted the ability to easily go from E to D, so I gave this a shot. I have zero experience putting hands on an instrument, but I was able to follow the instructional video and to replace the tuner myself! I had a minor issue replacing the bushing as the one that comes with the HipShot is slightly smaller than the hole left when removing the original one (on a Fender Aerodyne head). But I solved this issue with a little blue tape to make the external diameter thicker.

The tuning process was also pretty straightforward and usage itself is a breeze. All in all, very happy with it!
