Zero Mod 5 String Music Man Stingray Bass Thumb Rest

I have Sterling by MM Ray35 with one pickup. When I play, like to pluck the strings everywhere in between the bridge and neck. This model was only comfortable to pluck above the pickup or all the way at the neck. I ordered this Thumbrest from Zero Mod. I was initially sent the model for the 4 string and of course it wouldn't fit. But the staff here at BBB remedied it right away and sent me the correct one. It looks fabulous on the black pickguard and makes playing a breeze. They say that a great Bass Guitar has all the tones you could possibly need, you just need to coax them out. This Thumbrest really helps find the perfect plucking spot for each song. I will definitely say my tone has improved.

I tend to dig into the strings when I play and get a lot of snap/crackle/pop from the strings hitting the pickups. I wanted something that moved my hand away from the pickups to help reduce my clumsiness. The thumbrest went on in less than a minute and keeps my clunky fingers away from the pickups!
