Just like the 40P unit, with the 40P5 you’ll get the dual offset coils that bring out more low end with brilliant highs, but all specifically designed for a 5-string bass. And the use of ceramic magnets yields additional clarity to the 40P4’s natural presence, strong lows, and punchy midrange.

The extended 4 inch (102mm) housing is perfect for five string spacing, and the sleek black modern appearance is everything you’ve come to expect from EMG and their 30-plus years of design experience.
