DESCRIPTION

Delano JC4 HE/M2 4 String Jazz L/S Size Split Coil Set

The DELANO JC series are retrofit pickups for standard Jazz Bass® type instruments and can be installed in any kind of bass with similar pickup routings.

A high end split coil humbucking JB® four string pickup with the narrow sensing area of a classic single coil, the JC4 HE/M2 gives you a full range single coil tone with none of the headaches of previous designs.

The advanced coil design employs carbon steel blades, special ferrite magnets and full shielding. Its full bass and tight lowmids blend fine with very articulate midrange into sparkling harmonic overtones. Just the right amount of output works great in full passive operation and interacts meticiously with today's internal or external preamps and/or EQs. JC4 HE/M2 pickups are available in matched pairs ore as individual units.

Simply amazing

These are the best passive noiseless Jazz pickups I’ve ever heard. I put them in a cheap Sire V3 that, while lively as an instrument, was too dark. The first gig I showed up with these in my bass, my band mates immediately said, “These are the ones!” They are clear, lively, and punchy in just the right frequencies. The notes just pop out without me having to dig hard. And slap sounds killer and modern. I agree with the other reviewer - they sound like EMGs while also being passive. I can’t recommend them enough.
