A direct replacement upgrade for Fender Precision or Jazz style bass bridges. Installs in minutes and offers a "saddle housing lock" feature for added saddle stability.

Includes all necessary screws, instructions and adjustment wrench.

The 'Full Contact Hardware' system now offers "full contact" between the vibrating string and the body of the instrument. Babicz designed FCH with the intent of gaining the maximum amount of direct string coupling to the body of the instrument, with over 50 times more contact surface per saddle compared to conventional saddle designs.

With FCH, string height or "action" can now be set with more precision. The "eCam_ saddle allows for instant "action" adjustments without ever adding space or air gaps between the saddle and the body of the guitar, and conventional string height action adjustment set screws are eliminated. With the Babicz FCH design, the bridge saddle can never "sink" or "shift" while playing. Each FCH eCAM saddle also includes a specially designed _String Height Lock_ feature, which keeps your string height setting in place_even during extreme saddle vibrations over time. Precise intonation adjustments are also easily attained and in most cases include a _Saddle Housing Lock_ feature.

*String Lefty or Righty*

Well designed bridge
By 503roofdesign
Installed on my MIM jazz bass. Easy intonation, great finish (does not tarnish) and improves sustain. Almost as good as my string through Ibanez.
Have Badass bridge on my older P bass and Ibanez roadstar II and the babicz imho is better.
Roundwound strings won't dig into the saddle metal (requiring you to file every so often like cheaper bridges). Quality upgrade.
Very happy.

Amazing Babicz
By Laurie LeBlanc
This bridge installed effortlessly. Setup was simplified through their online tutorial. The height adjustment range was greater than I expected and should work for all standard heights. Playing with this was like night and day. The sustain was dramatically improved. The tone was mellower and was very appropriate for a bass. Babicz also has replacement saddles for a different tone. This bridge is almost perfect. My only wish is for them to make a quick hook version.

Perfect fit on my 74 Reissue Fender Fretless
By Craig Webber
I love this bridge and it was effortlessly installed on my 74 Reissue Fender Fretless. I reviewed this earlier on another 74 Reissue Fender Fretted and was a bit critical about what I felt was a design flaw, however, there was absolutely no problem with the fretless installation. Bridge increased the sustain almost unbelievably.

Flawed Design
By Craig Webber
First off, I waited months for this bridge after seeing it reviewed in Bass Player Magazine. I had my trusted local, very experienced, Luthier install this bridge on a 1974 reissue Fender Jazz bass.
The problem with this bridge is that if you have a light touch while playing, want the string's action closer to the fret board, and don't hammer the strings, then this bridge is NOT for you. The ability to adjust the height of the strings is limited due to the assumption of the designers what they believe is an acceptable lower height range that a player would ever lower the string to. That assumption in this design doesn't work for me at all. I'm selling the bridge and trying the Hip Shot bridge ( ) which is similar in design and way much less expensive.
If you like a higher action and really attack this strings, this bridge is great and is rock solid with great sustain.

Almost as good as a 2Tec and no routing
By Clay
Can't go wrong with a $100 bridge that increases string contact, reduces string to string imbalances and neck dead spots and only slighty increases mass.

It will change your tone depending on the bridge its replacing. Ie it does seem darker than the factory Fender Bridges but that doesn't mean the Fender bridges should be a nuetral standard.

Intonation is tricky possibly because with the lock screw loosened to move the saddle back and forth, there seems to be an overtone that confuses the tuner.

Nice Bridge!

Great bridge....gets lower than a gotoh 201. Easily adjusts for quick setup and it locks in place. Would definitely recommend to others.

Replaced the stock High Mass Vintage string thru on my 2009 USA P-Bass with a Babicz FCH 4-String Thru. Wasn’t expecting much change but WOW. More sustain, richer tone and you can feel the string vibrations thru the body. The bass feels alive and also a little lighter. The resonant frequency changed and the once really annoying “Dead C” is now a nearly imperceptible “Slightly Tired Eb”. Installation was a breeze. All holes matched perfectly with USA Fender thru body as stated. Adjustment was very easy. Everything is locked down and solid. The Babicz Bridge is impressive.

When I got home in the evening I un-strung my inexpensive Ibanez GIO bass, installed the pickups and FCH bridge.
I threw the old strings away and put on some new XL round wounds. I was able to adjust the string action very low. The Babicz is still my favorite bridge (besides the incredible sustain) because it is so easy to adjust.
I am going to have so much fun this weekend!!

I placed my order after carefully studying the on line details and was certainly not dissapointed. The Babicz full contact Bass bridge is very well manufactured and the engineering is well thought out.It was simple to install and set up.
It has contributed considerably to the great sound I get from my latest home crafted bass.Other bass players regularly approach me to inspect my instrument and ask how I get such an incredible depth &clarity of sound.
