The CDJD-3 pickup is the Jazz Bass® ( J Bass® ) replacement pickup set. It is highly respected by musicians and luthiers alike for its bright, enhanced treble tone. They feature a dual in-line humcanceling coil design.
The "Classic Bass" series bass pickups are passive designs featuring an extended and more resonant frequency range. They have far more "air" and definition at the top without sacrificing lows and low mids. They are cast in epoxy to remove unwanted feedback and microphonics.
9 Jazz L/S (Long/Short) – 9CBJD L3/S3, 59CBJD L3/S3, “4 String” size
- The 9CBJD L3/S3 fits the vast majority of Fender and “Fender Style” 4 string Jazz Basses requiring one long and one short J style pickups
- The 59CBJD L3/S3 fits many non-Fender “Fender Style” 5 string Jazz Basses requiring one long and one short J style pickups

57 Jazz L/S (Long/Short) – 57CBJD L/S “American Standard 5 String”
- The 57CBJD L3/S3 fits Fender USA and many imported 5 string Jazz Style basses requiring one long and one short pickups in the “American Standard’ Size
