The DELANO PC series offers a range of different transducer designs in the familiar Precison Bass™ pickup shape. They are direct retrofit units and can be installed in any electric bass that is outfitted with a P-bass™ style pickup cavity.

Since its invention in 1957, the splitcoil P-Bass™ pickup is the proven industry standard of electric bass transducers. Its basic design was not substantially altered visually since, but tone-wise, the changes are definitly audible. The Alnico PC AL is our tribute to lovers of classy vintage P-bass™ tone.

We carefully morphed the great "oomph" and greasy swamp bottom late 50ies to early 60ies pickups are famous four with the grinding wire attitude of ´68 to´73 examples and then added a slight DELANO twist to enhance dynamics and articulation. From groove to grind, old school to nu, the PC AL delivers with authority.

Please check the physical size of the pickups you want to replace to make sure the replacements fit properly.

Delano PC4 AL

Very nice pickup. Even sounding across all 4 strings and has a very open sound to it. Slightly scouped in the middle yet suttle enough to not draw attention to itself. Very much a classic sounding pickup and dead quiet!

Delano PC4 AL P bass Pickup
By Jason Dickie
I really like this pickup, it sounds very even and focused across the entire sound spectrum. Very solid and well built. I replaced a Stan Hinesly Mojo pickup which is also a great pickup, just a little more vintage sounding. The Delano does what it is says in the product description very well and I am very pleased with the purchase.
