Description

This 4 control passive prewire is intended for instruments with 2-pickups, and independent Tone control for each pickup.

These prewires are built in house by hand and utilize high quality Noble 250k Audio Taper Potentiometers, Sprague Orange Drop 0.047µF capacitors, and Standard Switchcraft Jack.

The Noble pot shafts are 6mm splined, split-knurled shaft. These can be converted to 1/4" if necessary using brass pot sleeves.

I'm using it with Dimarzio P-J pickups. I like the way the harness is made, with a nice length of wire between each pot, and the wires neatly twisted. I like the feel of the pots. I dislike the way that lowering the volume drastically darkens the tone--this is basically never desired for bass...maybe guitar players like this.

This pre-wired harness was just what I needed to upgrade an older bass guitar that had been sitting around for years. It originally had 2 Volumes, 1 Tone, and a three-way switch. I converted to 1 Volume, 2 Tones, and a Blend knob. Easy installation with just a couple soldering points and sounds great! I highly recommend Best Bass Gear! Thank you!!
