For converting Active to Passive
By Al

My old Epiphone EBM-5 active bass began having issues with the electronics. After doing some research to see if the PUs would work, I decided to convert it to passive. I bought the passive harness and installation was a snap. Sound is great. Cant ask for more.

I have pretty good knowledge of soldering and I've repaired a few basses, mostly non-electronic issues. I've used Best Bass Gear in the past for some nice Bartolini MC pickups for another bass, but for the bass this harness was going in (a Peavey Grind 5-string), I wanted to stay passive. I ordered the harness and I am more than impressed. The pots are of high quality. I had to drill the holes for the pots slightly. Hookup was a breeze- only 4 solder points.
